The ShadeLab has been invited to join the new Plant Resilience Institute at Michigan State University, planned to open this autumn. Our lab will contribute expertise in the ecology of plant-associated microbiota, and we will be working with other institute members (Sheng Yang He, Michael Thomashow, Brad Day, Gregg Howe, Tom Sharkey, David Lowry, and Robin Buell) on collaborative, interdisciplinary research to understand how plants resist stress and how we can best manage plants to be robust to ongoing stressors like global climate change.
Congratulations to all members of the institute! We're very much looking forward to this important research opportunity!
