John C is heading off to an NSF INTERNship with DuPont!

ShadeLab aims to support each of our students and post-docs in pursuing professional development opportunities that advance their individual career goals, and, in this arena, today is a happy day!

We are pleased to announce that Microbiology and Molecular Genetics Ph.D. student John Chodkowski has won an National Science Foundation INTERN supplement to support a 6-month internship experience in industry!

John will be traveling to DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences to study assembly of the infant gut microbiome this summer!

Congratulations to John! We can't wait to hear all about and learn from your experiences in working in industry!
