Congratulations to Justine!

ShadeLab congratulates senior Justine Miller on her graduation from MSU!

Justine's degree is in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. She will be applying to veterinary schools next fall, and she is interested in programs that have strengths in veterinary microbiology. Here is a photo of Justine with ShadeLab members John, Taylor (her grad student mentor!), Siobhan, Keara, and Sang-Hoon.

Justine has been a wonderful asset to our team, and she has made substantial contributions to our research efforts to understand the ecology of arsenic resistance in soil microbial communities. We will miss her. We wish Justine all the best in her career!
