Dr. Patrick Kearns has joined the Shade Lab research group as the newest member of the Plant Resilience Institute Microbiome Team! He will be studying how plant-soil-microbiomes interact to determine stress tolerance in plants, with a focus on mechanisms of drought resistance facilitated by microbiomes. Dr. Kearns joins us from the Bowen lab at Northeastern. Welcome, Patrick!
